Mens Wardrobe Finished By Designer Jeans

Despite the modern social mythos of male ignorance, men actually care what they wear. If they didn't, less of them would be so highly employable or marriage material, and they know it. Many men wonder how they can show off their fashionable clothing choices and how important it is that they dress well, without looking like fashion models. From designer jeans to suits for men, there are simple rules for guys to fall back on.

When buying man's jeans, it's important that he stick to dark coloured material and washes. This means avoiding the light blue jeans that are often associated with farm work or casual wear. Navies and blacks are best. Jeans with flashy designs on them should never be considered.

Every man should own one classic white button up shirt that fits as if he had it tailored to his own measurements. This outfit can go with mens suits as well as jeans with no trouble. Mens clothing can often seem like it is made up of traditional pieces but having one white shirt can make a man's wardrobe.

Mens dress shoes are surprisingly just a bit limited. The colour of the shoes and the colour of a man's belt should always match. They should always never be any colour but black or brown. His socks need to match the style he's wearing and the setting. It's a big no-no to wear sports socks with dress shoes. Socks should be as neutral as mens suits.

Suits for men have gone up and down fashion wise. Some suits are downright gaudy, making a man look much too flamboyant for the scene he finds himself in. Browns, greys and blacks are best when it comes to suits. A thin pinstripe might pass as long as it doesn't stand out and take away from the man himself. The suit needs to fit and to fit well, not being too short or too loose or tight.

While it's important to feel comfortable in what one wears, men often challenge fashion and social mores by insisting that they can wear whatever they want so long as they act casual and comfortable. The fact of the matter is that no man is going to feel relaxed once people start staring and talking in a negative way. To let his real personality show through, all a man has to do is wear clothing that fits and lets him be himself.

If comfort is that important to a man, one way to accomplish true comfort is to focus on underwear. No one can challenge what colours or styles he chooses because no one sees it. The same can't be said for men who wear athletic clothing to non-sports functions. Men look best if they stick to business casual clothing and athletic gear shouldn't be worn except at sporting events.

If a man were to have one rule for when it comes to dressing, he should just tell himself to dress as if today is the day he'll be seen on television. From designer jeans to business formal clothing, a man may feel like he has few choices to make. However, if a first impression is that important, and everyone knows it is, it isn't hard to find the perfect handful of outfits to fix a man's wardrobe.
